About the Presenters
Debbie Roos has been an Agriculture Agent with North Carolina Cooperative Extension for more than 14 years and works primarily with small-scale organic farmers in Chatham County. Her Growing Small Farms website (www.growingsmallfarms.org) features over 500 pages of photos and information helpful to organic growers around the southern region and beyond. She is an enthusiastic Facebook user and also uses Twitter and Pinterest.
Debra Heleba is the Vermont state SARE coordinator at the University of Vermont Extension where she is currently conducting a training program on social media tools for Extension educators in northern New England (http://www.nesare.org/State-Programs/Vermont). Deb maintains a Twitter site, is a guest blogger, regularly contributes to program Facebook pages, and has dabbled with several other social media tools.
