Here’s the Perfecta Field Cultivator, this is something new for me that I‘m just experimenting this year with. I hope it’s going to reduce my reliance upon a rotovator in my field bed preparation.

Normally my present practice is to subsoil in the spring. Put the subsoiler on - our two shank subsoiler and run it around the entire thirty or forty acre farm, subsoiling. Then gradually manure and rotovate and make beds as I need them. Then in the fall once again use the rotovator to incorporate the residue. I have some concerns about soil structure and I’m trying to look for alternatives to that - in especially the bed preparation in the spring and also again in witch grass control.
